• All 4-H members (and a parent or guardian) enrolled in any livestock project, including breeding and dairy projects, must become certified through Animal Quality Assurance training.

• Livestock projects include: swine, goat, lamb, beef, rabbit, poultry, and dairy.

• You must attend this training if this is your first year raising a livestock animal

• You must attend this training if your name is highlighted in red on the list below.

  • This list is sorted alphabetically by your last name.

  • If it says 'Inactive' next to your name, we did not receive your through ZSuites.

  • If it says 'No Animal Project', we do not have you enrolled in a market or breeding project.

    • Call the Extension Office or contact your Club Leader for more information.

    • Everyone with a market animal or breeding project should be on this list. Please e-mail or call the Extension Office to be added to the list.

• Failure to keep up on your annual Animal Quality Assurance certification will mean you cannot show or sell your animal at the Fair.

• Animal Quality Assurance (AQA) Training Options: There will be 2-3 Quality Assurance Trainings this 4-H Year

  • Saturday, December 16th at 9:00 a.m. in the Bill Hamilton Building

  • March 17th from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. in Augusta at the Augusta Museum

  • April 28th from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. in the Bill Hamilton Building

Q. Can I attend a fee workshop and it count for both my species?
A. No, you must declare what specie you are attending when signing in.

Q. Do open scale days count as a project workshop?
A. Maybe, this is up to the discretion of the project superintendent.

Q. Do quality assurance classes count towards my two workshops?
A. No, these are mandatory every three years.

• Bolded names mean that youth requires at least one or more workshops to meet the requirement
• Orange boxes indicate which workshop the youth is missing
• If there is an x in the box that means the youth does not have a second market animal
• If the youth's name is in red, it means they are due for QA this year and have yet to attend a training.
  • The last training will be held on April 28^th from 12:00 -2:30 p.m. in the BHB

Tagging your animal and attending Quality Assurance does not count towards these two required workshops per species.
